3 p.m. - Family storytelling show (In French)
In the Atrium
Free admission - no reservation necessary
The Festival des Contes et Légendes Abitibi-Témiscamingue of Val-d'Or invites itself to the Municipal Library of Rouyn-Noranda for an extraordinary storytelling experience. Come and discover the incredible invention of storyteller and inventor André Lemelin: a machine capable of telling us a thousand and one versions of the tale "Ti-Jean et les 1 000 moutons". André Lemelin will be accompanied by storyteller Benoît Davidson, who will plunge you into his wacky universe, where words seem to take a malicious pleasure in playing tricks on us.
A playful story hour, where parents and children will be invited to hear atypical tales, but also to press buttons themselves to launch the different parts of Ti-Jean's tale (the combinations of Ti-Jean's adventures are almost infinite and the possibility of hearing the same version twice is almost impossible!)
