A new documentary play that raises questions about how we will live our old days. Following the sudden move of his parents to a seniors 'home, comedian, host and director François Grisé decided to live a two-month immersion in a seniors' residence in Val-d'Or. He recorded more than 80 hours of interviews with residents. He collected his reflections, as well as anecdotes from his daily life with residents and traces of their stories. In 2018, he worked closely with the playwrighter Annabel Soutar to turn this immersion into a documentary play. At the heart of their approach: address direct questions about old age, illness, vulnerability and death. A play that testifies "from within" an invisible world, most of which only know the surface.
