Parc national d'Aiguebelle

Description

Walk over 2.7 billion years, at the very place where the waters part. Through the beauty and diversity of the landscapes it protects, parc National d’Aiguebelle is the loyal custodian of a rich regional heritage inspired by both nature and culture alike. Several short and long distance hiking trails (51 km) allow one to discover its whole splendour. These lead to a suspended bridge across a fault-lake and to a huge spiral staircase erected alongside an impressive escarpment. They also take you to the summit of the Abijévis hills or to a fire watchtower. Watching birds, exploring fault-lakes in a canoe, skirting the shoreline of incredible landscapes in a rabaska, crossing a 13.6-km2 lake in a sea kayak, reliving the history of this site through a theatrical presentation or fishing in a calm lake. These are just a few of the many activities you can enjoy here.
