Less than 12 kilometers from Rouyn-Noranda, the Kékéko Hills trails feature 15 marked hiking trails full of points of interest; panoramic views, escarpments, rock shelters and waterfalls. It is on foot that we can better discover this vast landscape, because only walking can capture the secret beauty of the forest. The Kékéko Hills massif covers about 32.2 km2 and offers snowshoers and other nature lovers who frequent it the tranquility and intimate beauty of the forest. The Kekeko Hills are also crossed by a hiking trail, the Transkekeko, which can be reached in about seven hours. The whole site is maintained by a group of volunteers.
