The next holiday season, get ready for a festive eve with Rita Baga and her family! For the first time in Quebec, this colorful show will reveal the world of Rita Baga (aka Jean-François Guevremont) from December 5th to 16th in the four corners of the province.

Every evening, 12 artists (8 drags and 4 dancers) share the stage. Twenty artists on stage, drags, dancers and musicians, will offer spectators a festive and colorful Christmas Eve. In the style of a musical theater, with popular and holiday songs, some of which are performed live with the Wildwood group, follow the colorful story of Rita Baga receiving her "family" for New Year's Eve. Christmas.

In December and everywhere in Quebec, this is a unique, incomparable and completely crazy rendezvous not to be missed!

About Rita Baga, aka Jean-François Guevremont

A worthy heir to Mado Lamotte, Rita Baga is one of the most well-known faces of LGBTQ communities in Montreal and Quebec. For more than 12 years, it has fascinated us and amazes us by chaining successes and major projects.

Animator, singer, actress, author, designer and producer, she first established her fame by performing and animating at the famous Cabaret Mado. An exuberant performer and larger than life, she has participated in several renowned festivals and popular TV shows. She also represented Canada at the 2016 Mumbai Kashish Queer Festival in India.

Passionate about this art of the stage, Rita Baga has also produced thirty themed shows including the Drags Gala and the Mx Pride Canada contest, the largest drag queen competition in Canada.

In addition to her many artistic engagements, Rita Baga, whose real name is Jean-François Guevremont, is the director of human resources and programming for Pride Montreal.

The Christmas Queens is his most ambitious project to date.
