Beyond Self: The Pleasure of Traveling Alone by Denise Stewart
It is an invitation to visit 3 Asian countries both hospitable and exotic under the watchful eye of a woman traveling alone in a backpack. The course reflects the beauty of the landscape and helps to understand complex and intriguing cultures. Nature has blessed this corner of the world where one can live in an atmosphere of exhilarating adventures and fun holidays.
We start with Cambodia which gives access, with Angor Wat, to the domain of Gods and reserves several other treasures: a refined cuisine flavored with Kompôt pepper, paradise islands in the south of the country. His greatest wealth is undoubtedly his brave and resilient people who deserve to be approached and appreciated.
Laos is sailing the fabulous bucolic Mekong, spotting the karsts mountains, exploring underground caves and contemplating Buddhist monasteries.
The adventure ends with Vietnam reigning with street food, unparalleled coffee, anarchic and opulent cities and sugar loaves in Ha Long Bay.
