2016 marked the 100th birthday of Léo Ferré. To pay tribute to him, PPS Danse and Coup de Coeur Francophone were again associated to produce Corps Amour Anarchie / Léo Ferré, an interdisciplinary show that celebrates the work of this great 20th century artist. This creation designed and directed by Pierre-Paul Savoie, under the musical direction of Philippe B and Philippe Brault, goes to meet the work of Léo Ferré to find his spirit, his music, his words, always just vibrating , and bring them back to you. An unprecedented encounter embodied in the interaction between the repertoire of the great French singer-songwriter and contemporary dance, bringing together no fewer than fifteen artists, four singers, five musicians and six dancers. Worn by the voices of Bia, Alexandre Désilets, Michel Faubert and Catherine Major and the choreographies of Anne Plamondon, David Rancourt, Emmanuel Jouthe, Hélène Blackburn and Pierre-Paul Savoie, the songs of Léo Ferré resonate more than ever with their relevance and their magnificence.
